Camera traps are a brilliant way of monitoring areas and learning more about the species thriving in our release sites! We use camera traps to gather data and recognise and identify any trends which helps us to respond appropriately to potential pressures that might be being placed on forests and therefore posing a risk to the biodiversity in that area.
We have captured footage of some truly amazing things with our camera traps such as the very rare storm stork, a wild mother orangutan with her baby and a clouded leopard - showing the positive impact our projects are having on the biodiversity in the areas in which we work.
